Looking at Copenhagen

In my May visit to Copenhagen I saw more than just the lineup of wind turbines from my flight in.

◄ An hour later I was standing beside Copenhagen’s iconic image, harbourside figure of the Little Mermaid.

 

 

 

 

 

Where you could also purchase the iconic Copenhagen souvenir, a little Little Mermaid statue. ▼

Then I took a boat cruise around the canals and rivers of the town and out into the harbour, passing by this sand castle competition. ▼

And the Copenhagen Opera Theatre – as well as the Little Mermaid (again). ▼

Before I climbed up to the clock tower of the Copenhagen Town Hall (Københavns Rådhus) for fine views over the city including over the Tivoli Gardens. ▼
