China Signs

▲ I like the straightforward nature of Chinese signs, perhaps they’re not so abrupt in Chinese, but translated into English they come across in a very direct fashion. Like this one.

◄ Or this ‘clean my room’ hotel door hanger at my hotel in Taiyuan, no messing around I want the room cleaned ‘Right Now!’

 

 

 

 

Or in one of the fine old courtyard homes in Pingyao where they definitely wanted to make sure visitors kept their hands off the goodies. Some more Chinese signs feature in a ‘signs blog’ I put up a few years ago. ▼
