Those Fine Old Cuban Car

Thursday, 21 April 2016

On my last trip to Cuba in 2014 I was delighted to note that the old American cars seemed to be looking better than ever. Many of them resplendent in pastel shades that never featured on the Detroit colour charts back in their era.

Riding a taxi out to the Hemingway house we tucked in behind this very fine English MGA from the 1950s, that’s a 1957 Cadillac coming in the opposite direction. Later I also spotted an MG Magnette, the four door MG family car.
